Not only is Carlac a family owned business, the owning board of directors have close family ties and work within the business on a daily basis. As a consequence staff are not only known by the managers of the business but the board of directors too and are treated as individuals, not numbers, within the organisation.

Carlac provides an environment where staff gain a great deal of job satisfaction from the duties they perform. Regardless of the role that an individual performs within the company it is treat with an equal amount of respect as each role is recognised as a contributor to the overall company goals.

Carlac also fashions the framework where individuals can learn additional skills within their existing roles and creates opportunities for people to progress. Where possible the company likes to promote from within; many of the managers for instance have been with Carlac since leaving school or joined in more junior capacities and have progressed through the ranks to their current senior roles.

The majority of Carlac’s staff have been with the company for a number of years; testament to the fact that Carlac treats its staff well and with respect.

Carlac staff are positive, committed, smart, professional, personable, flexible and are willing to learn and embrace change. They work closely with each other and enjoy working in a team environment where everyone makes a contribution to the performance of the business and their individual location.
